It is important to note that Fooddeme acts as an intermediary between users and restaurants. While we facilitate your orders and reservations, the preparation of food and provision of services remain the responsibility of the respective restaurants.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be processed under the following circumstances:

Food Delivery Orders

• Wrong Order Delivered: If the restaurant delivers incorrect items (e.g., different from your order), you may be eligible for a refund or redelivery of the correct items.
• Damaged or Spoiled Food: If the food arrives in an unsatisfactory condition (e.g., damaged packaging, cold food, or spoilage), you may request a refund.
• Non-Delivery:If your order is not delivered due to issues beyond your control, such as driver cancellation or location errors, you can request a full refund.
• Late Delivery If the order arrives significantly late and the delay compromises the quality of the food, you may request a partial or full refund.

Table Reservations and Dine-In Offers

• If your reservation or booking is not honored by the restaurant, you may be eligible for a refund or alternative arrangements.

Restaurant Deals and Offers

• Refunds for prepaid offers or deals are available if the restaurant fails to fulfill the promised service.

Food Delivery Orders

• If you cancel your order before the restaurant accepts it, you will receive a full refund.
• If the restaurant has already started preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible.

Table Reservations:

• Table reservations can be canceled free of charge uli to a specific time before your scheduled reservation. Please check the cancellation policy for each restaurant on our platform.

Restaurant-Initiated Cancellations

• If the restaurant cancels your order or is unable to fulfill it, you will receive a full refund.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

Certain situations may not qualify for a refund

• Change of Mind: Refunds are not issued for orders that are correctly fulfilled but no longer wanted by the user

• Provide Necessary Information: Include your order number, receipt, photos (if applicable), and a detailed description of the issue.
• Await Confirmation: Our team will investigate your request and provide a resolution within 48 hours.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

• Refunds to your original payment method (e.g., credit card, digital wallet) may take 5–7 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
• In some cases, we may offer credits to your Fooddeme wallet, which can be used for future orders.

Responsibilities of Restaurants

• There are specific quality control issues that restaurants need to adhere to by providing food of the right quality and order
• Any refunds issued due to restaurant errors will be deducted from the restaurant’s payout in accordance with our terms of service.

Non-Compliance

• Restaurants that fail to comply with our standards may face penalties or removal from the Fooddeme platform.

Disputes and Escalations

In case you are not fully satisfied with the solution given, you may further report the issue to our management team through our mail for your support. It is our policy to settle all disputes within the shortest time possible and in a manner most satisfactory to all parties.
